Prelude:  A young brass ensemble (pictured above) played “I Will Sing of the Mercies,” “He Has Made Me Glad,” and “Are You Washed in the Blood?”

Testimonies: Ethan Baros thanked the Lord for saving him at the age of six, helping him with college, and being there for him every step of the way. Joseph Buliga gave thanks for his new job and an opportunity to share his light with a co-worker before he left his old job. Dave Green said the Lord recently undertook for him when he was experiencing back pain, and the situation caused him to reflect on the even greater relief from condemnation he has enjoyed since he was saved nearly sixty years ago. Catey Hinkle gave praise that one of the benefits of being a Christian is our prayers are heard! Whether it is related to a tax problem (as she recently had), health, guidance, worry about loved ones, or something else, what a privilege it is to be able to take every need to the Lord in prayer.

Last Special: Holly Lambert sang “All My Life.”

Sermon: Reading the text from 2 Peter 3:9, Roth Mom preached on longsuffering, explaining that it is having patience that preserves one’s character.
