12-19-2023 – Tuesday Evening Service

Prelude: Josh Friesen, Marcus Luka, and Sam Asaya played an instrumental ensemble of “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” and “We Three Kings.”

Featured Testimonies: Aaron Hoskin shared how God helped him with his final exams, and he received good scores despite his lack of sleep due to preparing for those exams. Alicia Parker said she had been praying for more faith, and then got a boost to her faith when she found out that God answered prayer for a friend and also answered prayer for a situation that she had prayed about a year ago. Jennifer Worthington said she saw a rainbow over the hospital as she was heading there to visit her dad, and it reminded her of God’s care. Jillian Luka spoke of how she has been working on schooling and licensing, and despite complications, the Lord is helping and has given her peace.

First Special: The choir sang “The First Noel.”

Last Special: Holly Lee sang “Infant Holy, Infant Lowly” with “Silent Night.”

Sermon: Roth Mom (pictured) read from Matthew 6:31-32, speaking about the difference between wants and needs, and listed a few of the spiritual needs that can be met by Christ, such as forgiveness of sins, hope, joy, and peace.
