09-11-2022 – Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: Shawn Worthington played an organ solo of “In the Garden” and “He Is Exalted.” Then a men’s quartet sang “Jesus Is Your Ticket to Heaven.”

Featured Testimonies: Deanna Moen (pictured above) said that a year ago when she went in for brain surgery, the doctor told her she should instead just get dressed and go home; the Lord had healed her. Randy Baltzell recalled that the day he was saved, the lyrics of one of the congregational songs were, “I will answer when He calls my name, ‘Saved through Jesus’ Blood.’” Brother Randy said he was so thrilled that he could sing it with confidence in his heart. Aaron Hoskin shared how the Lord helped Him make a restitution at work, and he was told not to give his resignation, but that they were happy to keep him on.

First Special: The choir sang “New Day Dawning (Medley).”

Last Special: Azaria Charles and Savannah Lee sang “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow.”

Sermon: Gary Riler preached on the importance of remembering, using Proverbs 3:1-3 as his text, saying that people should use any methods necessary to not forget God’s Law.
