Prelude: Janice Calhoun and Sungun Yune played a piano duet of “He Brought Me Out” and “Blessed Be the Lord God Almighty.”

Featured Testimonies: Dawn Boyce testified that although she knew nothing of the Gospel when she was saved as a college student, God became her best Friend and patiently led her. Joyce Ewers was thankful that recently, when she was traveling and experienced some trouble, the Lord worked everything out. Janie Ewers told about a time when she lost something important, so after looking for it, she prayed, “Lord, even if it is gone, You can put it back in its place,” and He did.  

First Special: A men’s choir sang “I’m Climbing Up the Mountain.”

Last Special: Gary and Kristi Riler sang “Gentle Hands.”

Sermon: Tony Boyce (pictured above), pastor in Dallas, Oregon, read 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 for his text and exhorted the congregation to have faith in the power of God. He said that people in the Bible did extraordinary things, not because they were great, but because their trust was in God.
