Prelude: A string quartet played “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Concerto in E Minor.”
Featured Testimonies: Don Scholz, who was visiting from Michigan, praised God for saving him and delivering him from drugs and alcohol. Shade Ajayi (pictured below) testified that this past year the Lord provided a way for her to return to full-time teaching after retirement by giving her an assistant and allowing her to work from home. Patrick Lee thanked the Lord for a Christian upbringing, for saving and sanctifying him, and for helping him in school. Tina Weaver said she is thankful for a godly heritage and that she also made the decision to follow the Lord.
Special: The choir sang “A New Name in Glory.”
Sermon: Larry Montgomery preached from Romans 8:28, and said God will be with His people when they go through difficult circumstances, and will only allow the trials that will benefit them or further the Gospel.
