Prelude: Dale Copko and Shawn Worthington played a piano/keyboard duet of “We’ve Come This Far By Faith” and “Farther along.”

Featured Testimonies: Karen Barrett gave thanks for her Christian heritage, and that the Lord saved her when she was young. As a teenager she desired to work for the church headquarters office, and after graduating high school the Lord granted her that desire. She shared how He has been with her in over fifty years of marriage, including when she was gravely ill in the 1980s, and how the Lord raised her up and restored her health.

Rich Barrett (pictured below) was also thankful for his heritage in the Gospel, which led him to give his heart to the Lord at a young age. His parents were saved when he was about one year old, and they were faithful examples to him. When he was ten, his sister drowned and he saw how his parents retained the peace of God through that difficult time. He also would go with his dad to the ships and bring the sea men home for dinner where his dad would share the Gospel with them.

Last Special: Emily Luka sang “Lean On Me.”

Sermon: Chet King used 1 Kings 20:11 for his sermon, and asked his listeners to consider what they might hear the Lord say to them if their lives were to end today. He reminded those who cannot say they have fought a good fight and kept the faith, that they can change their destiny by coming to the Lord now.
