06-29-2022 – Wednesday Youth Service

Prelude: The youth orchestra played “Oh How He Loves You and Me” and “On Christ the Solid Rock.” Then the youth choir sang “Open Up the Heavens.”

Featured testimonies: Noah Mocan thanked God for salvation, sanctification, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Then he expressed gratitude that God not only helped him graduate from high school but even thrive during high school. Joshua Budean said that seven years ago, he had difficulty getting saved. However, when God showed him it was a gift of love that could not be earned, he prayed, and God saved him and also sanctified him two weeks later. Jacob Budean praised God for helping him graduate from college debt free, and he is thankful that God provided him with jobs that helped pay for housing and other expenses as well. David Budean gave God glory for helping him through a difficult year of teaching young students, saying that God gave him patience, emotional strength, and peace. Jeremiah Marincus testified that he is glad to be in church, and he stated that the Lord is His friend and he is looking forward to seeing Jesus at His soon return.

First Special: A young men’s Sacramento vocal ensemble (pictured above) sang “Alpha and Omega.”

Last Special: Angela Lucescu sang “Lead Me On.”

Sermon: Deivys Pichardo of the Dominican Republic preached from Genesis 22:5-8, 11-12, saying the youth of today will be the future of the church if the Lord tarries. He urged the young people to forsake all and follow God.
