06-26-2022 – Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: The orchestra played “I Sing Praises” and “Come, Christians, Join to Sing.” Then the choir sang “We Are Still the Church.”

Featured testimonies: Edward Dixon shared that sixteen years ago, he learned that two of his arteries were 100 percent blocked and another was 90 percent blocked, but God healed him completely and he did not need surgery. Emily Vanyi-Vine was thankful for how the Lord has been with her since she had a stroke in April, providing excellent caretakers, restoring her speech, and how He helped the surgeon remove the entire blood clot. Emmanuel Jaiyeola thanked God for His protection during a car accident in May, and although his side of the car was greatly damaged, miraculously he slept through the crash and sustained only minor scrapes. Kimberly Joseph said on Friday, she tripped and hurt her foot very badly, but prayed about it, and on Sunday morning, she noticed that though her foot is still purple, the pain is gone.

First Special: A mixed octet sang “Hear My Song, Lord.”

Last Special: Caleb Copko sang “Four Days Late.”

Sermon: Josephine McElveen District Superintendent of Southern and Eastern USA (pictured above), read John 12:1-2 and 20-21 for her text, and said this camp meeting, we want to be among those who are determined to see Jesus.
