The United States Southern and Eastern District (SED) Camp Meeting 2025 was a time filled with God’s presence, Spirit-led preaching, heartfelt worship, and powerful testimonies. From the first note of music to the final altar call, the Lord poured out His blessings during twelve services—morning teachings, afternoon fellowship, evenings of revival, and a Saturday night of joy. Two themes framed the week: “It Is High Time” and “The Best Is Yet to Come.” Together, they reminded everyone present of the urgency of the hour and the bright hope of God’s promises.

The opening service set a reverent tone with a violin and viola duet before District Superintendent Josephine McElveen preached from Jude 1–3. She urged vigilance against false teaching and called believers to pursue healing, deliverance, sanctification, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, ending in the assurance that God is able to keep His people from falling. Afterward, the altars filled with seekers.

Thursday’s teaching stressed that while traditions and policies may change, doctrine does not. From Deuteronomy 19:14, Luke 6:46, and Jeremiah 6:16–17, Lana Alofe, the pastor in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, reminded listeners that God’s standards are guardrails on the narrow way. That afternoon, a women’s service celebrated sisterhood as Rena Garraway read from Hebrews 11, likening faith to “premium gas” fueled by the Word and fellowship. In the evening, Earnest Marshall, pastor in Fort Worth, Texas, warned against spiritual neglect. He used Ecclesiastes 10:18, John 13:35, and Matthew 24:12 and urged believers to guard their walks and show Christlike love.

On Friday morning, James Timbilla, the pastor in Teaneck, New Jersey, preached on consecration from Mark 12:30, calling the congregation to lay “plans, ways, and life” fully on the altar before God. Later, youth and children presented music and drama before Duane Ross, from Richmond, Virgina, used Hebrews 8:1 and John 14:6 to urge young people to know Jesus personally. He reminded them that “just a little talk with Jesus” can make everything right.

Friday evening was a turning point, with Superintendent General Olusola Adesope arriving from Midwest Camp to join the rest of SED camp. Preaching from Romans 13:12–14, he warned of deception and decline—calling believers to awake from spiritual slumber and prepare for Christ’s return through the pursuit of holiness and renewed zeal. The altar filled with seekers receiving sanctification, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and renewed anointings.

Saturday morning seminars addressed practical discipleship. Young adults discussed relationships and Biblical boundaries, while married couples and parents received guidance on raising children in faith and resolving conflicts with grace. The evening’s “Joy Night” concert celebrated unity in Christ through orchestral music, solos, children’s presentations. The combined choir’s multilingual declaration of “He Is Lord” showcased the camp’s diversity. The concert closed with Brother Sola encouraging the audience to let the “joy of the Lord” carry them through daily life.

The final service featured Brother Sola preaching from Luke 5 on Peter’s “Nevertheless.” He urged his listeners to surrender to Christ’s, persevere in trials, and ensure priorities are heavenly. The closing altar call became a moment of recommitment and renewal for the year ahead.

Testimonies throughout the week celebrated salvation, healing, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Youth and elders alike proclaimed God’s faithfulness, weaving a tapestry of praise that declared: Jesus still saves, sanctifies, heals, and fills with His Spirit.

SED Camp Meeting 2025 was a holy encounter with God. They left carrying the urgency of “It Is High Time,” the hope of “The Best Is Yet to Come,” and the confidence of full surrender.
