Dear Church Family:

God Påske and god søndag! My greetings may have given it away. I am writing you from the beautiful country of Norway and wishing you Happy Easter (god Påske) and Happy Sunday (god søndag). Tolu, Josiah, and I are here in Norway for our Scandinavian Easter retreat in Ognatun, located outside of Stavanger, Norway. We are having a blessed Easter here and I wanted to wish our global church family a Happy Easter.

We are thankful for many aspects of the Easter story, including the empty tomb, the Resurrection Power, and so much more. As I reflect on several aspects of the Easter story now, I am so thrilled about the Resurrection Power. That power lifted Jesus from the grave and rolled the stone away from His tomb. It gave us victory over sin, death, and the grave! It brought comfort and peace to Mary Magdalene. Before the Resurrection, the disciples were afraid, hiding in fear, and felt defeated. After they experienced the Resurrection Power, they had courage and became fearless preachers of the Gospel. May each of us experience the same Power of Resurrection that was released during the first Easter (Philippians 3:10). May it breathe fresh life into every weary soul, revive every heart, and ignite old-time faith for the days ahead.

One of these days, that same Resurrection Power will catch the Bride of Christ away at the Rapture of the Church. May God give our church family 100% rapture. The Resurrection Power can do that if we allow it to work in our lives. 

Once again, Happy Easter and may the good Lord bless you “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20).
