11-12-2021 – Friday Evening Service

Prelude:  An ensemble of piano, cello, bass and vibraphone performed three songs “Consider the Lilies,” “Tears Are a Language,” and “Keep on the Firing Line.”

Featured Testimonies: Brian Ewers (pictured above) testified that he was saved at a young age, and now that he is older, he has proved that the Lord will keep you if you want to be kept. Debbie Lee from Roseburg gave thanks for victory for over forty-four years, remembering that when the Lord saved her she felt beautiful inside and out for the first time in her life. Caleb Copko was thankful that he has had recent opportunities to share the Gospel during a building project. Shelby Warburg gave thanks for the Lord’s peace and assurance when there were complications just before she gave birth to her daughter Kennedy, and the Lord undertook giving her a healthy baby.

First Special: The choir sang “The Banner of the Cross.”

Last Special: Michael McCarville sang “Master of the Wind.”

Sermon: Reading from Psalm 145:8-9, Dwight Baltzell told how God’s mercies, goodness, and grace help to position a person before God so he realizes who God is and what he owes God for His manifold mercies.
