Prelude: Rosie Lambert played two selections on the piano: “It Is Well with My Soul” and A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.”

Featured Testimonies: Cheryl Downey testified of her heritage in the Gospel. Her unsaved father flew missions over Germany in World War II, and his older brother was praying for him back at home. After the war, her father was saved, and from then on was a good Christian example. Kenny Cripps said he has been saved for thirty-nine years this month, and thanked the Lord for His guidance and the peace He gives. Jennifer Worthington (pictured above) gave thanks for being raised in a Christian home, for salvation that she received at a young age, and for the Lord’s peace that has helped her through some challenging times in her life.

First Special: The choir sang “Look to the Lamb of God.”

Last Special: Holly Lambert sang “Whisper Jesus.”

Sermon: Bob Downey began by reading John 21:2-3, and said that the disciples were “on the fence” about what to do after Jesus’ death on the Cross, until they experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which gave boldness and power for service.
