10-15-2021 – Friday Evening Service

Prelude: Annika and Mackenzie Ewers performed a violin duet, “Here I Am to Worship” and “Shine, Jesus, Shine.” Sarah, Susie, and Sam Asaya (picture below) then sang “Open the Eyes of My Heart, Lord.”

Featured testimonies: Rob Parker shared that as a teenager, he feared where He would spend eternity until the Lord saved Him, and since then, his fear is completely gone, knowing He is ready for Heaven. Sylvia Phillips testified of nearly seventy-four years of being a Christian, and said salvation thrills her soul. God has kept her in times of trials, and she knows God answers prayer. Jason Lee said that when he was younger he suffered with terrible migraine headaches, but he asked the Lord to heal him and He did!

First Special: The choir sang “God Is So Wonderful.”

Last Special: Sam Asaya sang “It Matters to the Master.”

Sermon: Larry Montgomery used Hebrews 10:24-25 as his text, and encouraged his listeners to appreciate the opportunity and value of attending church, where they can encourage each other to stay faithful to God.
