Prelude: A youth string ensemble played “Our God Reigns” and “Everybody Ought to Know.”

Featured Testimonies: Roberta Parker said her son's recent health crisis reminded her of a sermon on Philippians 4:11 to be content and rest in the Lord because He will make a way, and He did! After two days of being paralyzed from the waist down, her son was able to walk again. Ethan Baros expressed thanksgiving for traveling mercies, protecting him at work and most recently when his parked car was hit and he was not in it! Maria Green was thankful for the privilege to go to youth camp and shared how the Lord blessed her time there, including healing her foot which had been hurting for eight months.

First Special: The choir (pictured above) sang “It’s Just like His Great Love.”

Last Special: Julianne Luka sang a medley of “Amazing Grace” and “Surrendered, Completely Surrendered.”

Sermon:  Bob Downey read the first six words of John 3:16 for his text and declared that the words “Jesus loves you” mean so much that they require a response; they are a message of hope, peace, and thanksgiving, and they are the answer to every person’s need.
