Prelude: A Serenaders group (pictured above) played “Farther Along” and “In the Sweet By and By,” and then accompanied Jennifer Worthington and Kaye Montgomery as they sang “Pass Me Not.”

Featured Testimonies: Jennifer Worthington was thankful for the Lord’s help this week at school with the challenges that came up. Rosie Lambert told how the Lord answered some specific prayers just this week, big and small. Debbie Lee appreciated how the Lord has worked things out for her to be able to communicate with her husband while he is visiting our churches in Nigeria, Benin, and Ghana. Austin McCarville shared how attending camp meeting, youth camp, and visiting branch churches this summer encouraged him and prepared him to enter the new school year. Chris Luka described some challenges he was facing at work recently, making it seem impossible to complete a project on time, but the Lord helped it come together.

Last Special: Mackenzie Ewers sang “Have Thine Own Way, Lord.”

Sermon: Roth Mom preached from Philippians 4:11-13, stressing the importance of contentment, which only God can give.
