Prelude: Shawn Worthington and Janice Calhoun played an organ/piano duet of “All Together Lovely,” and “This World is Not My Home.”

Featured Testimonies: Kristin Lee was thankful for the peace the Lord gave her when she felt He wanted her to do something that was stressful. Butch Carey mentioned that he had not felt good for a long time, but he was thankful that through it all he could feel the presence of Jesus with him. Julianne Luka told how a friend noticed that no matter what happens to her, things always seem to work out. She was able to tell her friend that it was the power of prayer and God in her life that made it possible.

Sermon: Erik Calhoun took his text from Exodus 33:17, using Moses as an example of one who answered God’s call and drew closer to Him. Brother Erik encouraged everyone to invest the time and effort in their prayer life so they can experience spiritual growth as Moses did.
