08-22-2023 – Tuesday Evening Service

Prelude: Oliver and Elouise Tonning each played a cello solo, followed by a duet of “Rigadoon.” Bella McCarville (pictured above) then sang “How Great Is Our God” accompanied by her father, Michael McCarville, on the piano.

Featured Testimonies: Roberta Parker thanked the Lord for saving her as a young woman, and that she has a testimony and can be a light to those around her. Rich Trotter testified about a time he was in the Air Force, and how the Lord protected him during that time even though he was not saved. He thanked God for using a situation to speak to him and saving him shortly after.

First Special: The choir sang “He Took My Sins Away.”

Last Special: Natalie Tonning sang “This is My Father’s World.”

Sermon: Randy Baltzell read Revelation 2:1-6, speaking about the church at Ephesus and how they focused so much on doing the work of the Lord that they forgot about God’s love for them. He encouraged the congregation to stay faithful to God, assuring that He will give victory.
