Prelude: Russell Mathews played “My Jesus I Love Thee” and “Sunday School Medley” on the vibraphone.
Featured Testimonies: Sam Asaya thanked God for sanctifying him this past Sunday. Jodie Hinkle (pictured below) gave the Lord praise for putting her shoulder back in place and for showing her that He hears and honors every prayer that we pray for unsaved family members. Betty Andrews was thankful the Lord helped her with a small need recently. Sandy Cripps thanked the Lord for relief from troubling thoughts, through encouraging phone calls and a song He put in her heart one night. Jason Lee thanked God for a speeding ticket because it caused him to be driving slowly through that same area later when a girl ran out in front of him.
Special: Savannah Lee sang “For Those Tears I Died.”
Sermon: Bob Downey read Matthew 5:6 and said God will pour out His blessings on those who have a hunger for more of Him. He used this year’s Midwest camp meeting as an example. The young people there had earnestly sought God, and as a result, many received salvation, sanctification, the baptism, and healing.
