Featured Testimonies: Sam Asaya was thankful he reconnected with the Lord and was saved at the youth retreat. Al Smith (pictured below) thanked God for saving him as a drunken mailman, and for a recent healing. Maya Nedelcu said she has been saved for nine years now, and gave thanks for a recent answer to prayer of a clear path for a career. Sylvia Phillips said she never wants to forget March 21, 1948, on a Sunday night when Jesus took her sins away and gave her a brand new life.

Sermon: Tim Mixer, from Chehalis, Washington, read Matthew 15:21-28, about the Canaanite woman who approached Christ for a great need for her daughter, and held on in faith until the Lord answered. He pointed out that it is necessary not only to believe, but also to act on that belief and hold on in faith.
