Prelude: Trombonists Curt Cook, Marcus Luka, and Henry Parker played “In Times Like These,” and “Jesus Saves.”
Featured Testimonies: Sheila Ewers (pictured below) spoke of her Christian grandmother who told her about the Lord. However, her parents were not Christians and after their divorce, she lived with her dad who limited her access to church and Christian people. After she graduated, the Lord began to call after her heart and lead her back to church where He wonderfully saved her. Ian Andersen said he was saved at age thirteen, but decided he didn’t like to be different from the other kids, so he turned it aside. At age fourteen, a scary incident that injured his eye caused him to pray and give his heart to the Lord once again. The Lord changed his life and he determined never to go back into sin, and the Lord has kept him since then. He has no regrets in choosing to serve the Lord.
First Special: The choir sang “Glorious City of God.”
Last Special: Butch Carey sang “Thou Wilt Keep Him in Perfect Peace.”
Sermon: Tom Pricskett took his message from Numbers 22:15-18, encouraging his listeners to do whatever God asks of them, and to spread the Gospel in whatever way God calls them.
