07-25-2021 — Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: Trombonists Curt Cook, Marcus Luka, and Henry Parker played “In Times Like These,” and “Jesus Saves.”

Featured Testimonies: Lisa Butler testified that when she was fourteen years old, the Lord brought conviction on her, causing her to feel guilty for things she had done wrong. She called her Sunday school teacher and asked for a ride to church, and there she poured out her heart to the Lord and asked Him to forgive her. God saved her, and by the time she was fifteen, He had also sanctified her and baptized her with the Holy Spirit.

David Warberg told how he was invited to this church at age seventeen, and the Gospel message resonated with his heart. Before long he prayed and the Lord made a real change, giving him victory. He gave thanks for the Lord’s help when his wife, at seven months into her pregnancy, had to have an emergency C-section. He was very concerned but now rejoices that the Lord undertook; she and the baby are doing great.

First Special: A young ladies’ quartet (pictured below) sang “Christ Is Enough.”

Last Special: Gary Wolfe sang “I Know a Name.”

Sermon: Roth Mom preached from Ephesians 1:3-4 and said that whatever one’s greatest treasure is, that will dictate the decisions they make in life, but only Jesus can truly satisfy.
