Prelude: The orchestra played “Come Just as You Are” and “Testimony Medley.” Then a men’s quartet sang “Jesus Opened Up the Way.”
Featured Testimonies: Faith Ayodeji said that God showed her she needed to draw closer to Him this camp meeting, and she is thankful for a faithful mom who has brought her to church and taught her the right way. Sylvia Phillips said that the Lord saved her seventy-four years ago, and although she has had some afflictions the past few years, the Lord is still keeping her and blessing her. Bam Olayisade said that God saved him from a life of sin during a 2012 youth camp, and he is thankful that God has kept him since then. Rachel Boyce said she was saved seven years ago, and recently God has showed her the need to live as close to Him as she possibly can. Seth Morgan said that after experiencing loss and heartache, he and his wife were blessed with a baby daughter, and he was thankful to be able to bring her to camp meeting. Ariah Piper (pictured above) told how the Lord saved and sanctified her at youth camp the summer before her sixth grade year.
First Special: The choir sang “Right in the Middle.”
Last Special: Victoria Heintz sang “There Is a Balm in Gilead,” with harp accompaniment.
Sermon: Harlan Lee, from Roseburg, Oregon, read 2 Kings 2:13 for his text, and encouraged the congregation to take up the mantle of God’s call and give their lives in service to Him.
