First Special: Savannah and Kristin Lee sang “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us.”

Sermon: Dave Lambert read from Matthew 28:19-20, and informed the congregation that water baptism is a commandment to those who have been saved. It symbolizes to the world what happens in the new birth: that a person dies to sin (goes down into the water) and is raised to new life in Christ (rises up from the water).

Twenty-four ladies and twenty-three men were baptized in water.
