07-08-2022 – Friday Morning Teaching

Prelude: Jane, Annika, and Mackenzie Ewers (pictured above) played “Beneath the Cross of Jesus” and “There Is Power in the Blood” on their violins. Then Rob and Alicia Parker sang “God Can Do Anything.”

Featured Testimonies: Randy Macomber said that recalling a prayer meeting he had during the 1980 camp meeting is a reminder of how his consecrations have established him in the Gospel. James Timbilla said that his son was involved in a serious accident just before they came to camp meeting, but Jesus touched him and they were able to travel. Victoria Oni said that it was a shock when her mother and father passed away a few hours apart, but God’s promise that He would never leave her or forsake her has sustained her. Sharon Ashe thanked the Lord for helping her keep her home in 2008 during a financial crisis, and for how He is always there for her. Kingston Andersen said he recently was saved and sanctified, and he is thankful for how God helped him get a good grade at school when he prayed about it. Susan Baltzell said she is thankful that God protected her during a recent fall, and for how He has undertaken in some other health concerns.

First Special: Randy Macomber and Iudita Trotter sang “Find Us Faithful.”

Last Special: Ashley Morgan sang “The Promise.”

Teaching: Charles Schleicher, pastor in Madison, Wisconsin, read John 18:36 for his text, and focused on the contrast between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world. He encouraged the congregation to prepare for God’s Millennial Kingdom, where the nations of the world will bring honor to Him.
