07-05-2022 – Tuesday Morning Teaching

Prelude: Ariah Piper played a bassoon solo of “Count Your Blessings.” Then Sierra Mixer sang “I Found it All in Jesus.”

Featured testimonies: Florin Baros testified that his parents emigrated from Romania with nine children and were invited to an Apostolic Faith church, where he prayed and was saved at age thirteen. Grace Llechuckwu shared how when her husband died, leaving her with a three-year-old, she was bitter at first. Then she realized she needed to look to God, and He has provided for all their needs. Lorrie O’Neill testified that being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer has brought her closer to God; He gives her songs in the night and Scriptures in the day, as well as peace throughout this trial. Funmilayo Ogunwale said she had been ill for sixteen years and never thought she would see the age of fifty, but God healed her, and she turned fifty in 2021.

First Special: A Baros men’s ensemble (pictured above) sang “I’m Standing on the Solid Rock.”

Last Special: Bernice Pinney sang “Amazing Grace.”

Sermon: John Baros, pastor in Medford, Oregon, read Galatians 2:19 and taught on being made “Alive in Christ.” He brought out that to be alive spiritually means to be responsive to the things of God, such as His Spirit, His Word, and His will.
