Prelude: Jane Ewers played a violin solo of “Amazing Grace” and “Joybells” with “Heaven Came Down.” Then a men’s choir sang “Let the Flame Burn Brighter.”

Featured testimonies: Steve Hopper (pictured above) told how, when he was a young man, God made a change in his life that set him on a new path. Boniface Osunkwo testified that as a child he was a threat to society because he hated people and wanted to hurt others, but he repented of his sins and Jesus took away his hate and gave him joy in return. Trudy Compton gave God glory for sparing her life on several occasions. St. Clair Pinney said after he was in a head-on collision in 1995 and his neck was broken, he prayed asking God to let him live a few more years, and He is still living and testifying of God’s goodness today.

First Special: A men’s octet sang “He’s the One.”

Last Special: Erin Morgan sang “Behold the Lamb of God.”

Sermon: Bolaji Popoola read Matthew 16:13 for his text, warning that it is not good enough to hear the Word preached at camp meeting and view miracles taking place; people must come to know Jesus personally to receive the blessings God has for them.
