06-29-2023 – Thursday Morning Teaching

Prelude: Ariah Piper began the service by playing a bassoon solo of “As the Deer” and then “Onward Christian Soldiers.” An Oceanside, New York, vocal ensemble (pictured above) followed, singing "Glorious Freedom."

Featured Testimonies: Abby Baros said she is grateful for her husband and children, and that she was saved years ago at a youth camp. Jane Burton appreciated how God is helping her with a torn rotator cuff. Paula Jordan gave thanks for a praying grandmother, for salvation, and that God healed her of Multiple Sclerosis. 

First Special: A Sacramento ladies’ trio sang “Out of His Great Love.”

Last Special: Shola Fabelurin sang “Grace Was There."

Sermon: John Baros, pastor in Medford, Oregon, preached from Romans 5:10-11, warning that sin is destructive and separates from God but the Atonement makes it possible to be reconciled with God.
