06-28-2022 – Tuesday Morning Teaching

Prelude: David Budean played a French horn solo of “It Is Well With My Soul” and then Jill Andersen and Natalie Tonning sang “More than Wonderful.”

Featured testimonies: Flora Makomva shared how the Lord brought her and her husband into the Gospel, and saved them both. Marble Mfandarahwa (pictured above) told of a time when she was mugged and left paralyzed but the Lord healed her. Helen Akere said the Lord spared her life when she was in a terrible car accident, and afterward, her hand was paralyzed for two years, but she asked the Lord to heal her so she would be able to play the violin again, and He did so.

First Special: Mark and Marble Mfandarahwa sang “He Will Hide Me.”

Last Special: Wayne Butler sang “The Anchor Holds.”

Sermon: Bill McKibben spoke on consecration, taking his original text from Exodus 32:29. He explained that two definitions of consecration are “to dedicate for a sacred purpose” and “to fill one’s hands,” so Christians want their hands to be filled with God’s service.
