06-19-2022 – Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: A trombone ensemble played “Power in the Blood,” and “Keep On the Firing Line.”

Featured Testimonies: Holly Lambert (pictured above) spoke of a situation that had been causing her stress but was thankful that when she prayed about it the Lord gave her peace. Anthony Mixer gave thanks for God’s protection on the job when he didn’t connect a hose right for filling a propane tank and the emergency shut-off failed, but he was not injured. Al Smith was thankful for his father, and shared that although he was not raised in a Christian home, he has the comfort of knowing that his father began attending church before he passed away, and his last words to his mother were “I’m ready.”

First Special: The choir sang “We Are More than Conquerors.”

Last Special: Deborah Brenner sang “Draw Me Nearer.”

Sermon: John Musgrave read from Luke 9:28-35, and explained to any who are unsaved that if they will open their hearts to the Lord, He will come in and they will experience a transformative change.
