05-24-2022 – Tuesday Evening Service

Prelude: Eloise Tonning played “Perpetual Motion” on the cello, followed by her brother Oliver playing “The Moon over the Ruined Castle” and the chorus from “Judas Maccabaeus,” also on the cello. Then Eloise and Oliver (pictured above) sang “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus,” with him accompanying them on the guitar.

Featured Testimonies: Annika Ewers said that God answered her prayer when she asked Him to help her remember a song, and she is thankful that He cares about all her concerns, including the small ones. Jason Lee said he is thankful for opportunities to share his testimony with his coworkers over the past five months. Sylvia Phillips said she was reminded of how she was able to share her testimony with twelve different people when she was hospitalized with pneumonia.

Last Special: Troy Ross sang “Let Me Touch Him.”

Sermon: Dwight Baltzell read Genesis 1:1-3 for his text, and encouraged the congregation to listen for God’s voice and let Him work in their lives.
