03-06-2022 – Sunday Evening Service

Prelude:  The Serenaders played “In the Garden,” “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” and “Are You Washed in the Blood?” The choir, along with a men’s quartet, sang “I Want to Know that You Know.”

Featured Testimonies: Rob Parker expressed appreciation for the Gospel and for the Lord being there through the ups and downs of life. Barbara McCormick spoke of joy in serving the Lord, being in the house of God, and of the opportunities over the years to work for Him. Lily Oilar was thankful the Lord saved and sanctified her at the age of eleven in her room at home and said she is seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

First Special: The octet sang “The Promise.”

Last Special: Victoria Heintz sang “He Is My All.”

Sermon: Reading from Matthew 11:28-30, Alfred Ikotun (pictured above), pastor in Oceanside, New York, said all go through hard things in this life, all have burdens, but Jesus bids each one to come to Him and find rest for their souls.
