03-05-2022 – Saturday Evening Youth Service

Prelude: The youth orchestra performed “Mighty to Save” and “There is Power in the Blood.” The choir (pictured above) then sang “Great Things.”

Featured Testimonies: Joseph Buliga gave thanks for salvation and for the Lord helping him pass a test at school recently. Josh Friesen expressed appreciation for the Lord’s guidance at school and for providing reassurance of his sanctification at youth camp. Sam Asaya thanked the Lord for providing strength was he started college. Marcus Luka was grateful he has been able to pursue his love of music as a major along with his original major at college, and it all is paid for by scholarships, giving him evidence that God will provide. Jordyn Sletmoe said the Lord has helped her through college and multiple jobs, and leads her every step of the way.  Austin McCarville was encouraged when a friend from his school days wanted to attend a service.

First Special: A young men’s quartet sang “I’ve Been Changed.”

Last Special: The choir sang “Let It Be Jesus.”

Sermon: Pete Sferle, pastor in Sacramento, California, read Mark 10:17-22, and admonished the audience that to inherit eternal life, not one thing can be held back; everything must be given to Jesus.
