03-02-2023 – Thursday Evening Service

Prelude: The serenaders played “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow,” “Precious Memories,” and “An Unclouded Day.” A trio of Jennifer and Genevieve Worthington and Victoria Heintz sang “God Still Delivers.”

Featured Testimonies: Ololade Ayoola (pictured above) shared how the Lord saved him while he was in his early teens, and recently protected him and his family from kidnappers. Samuel Adenekan told how the Lord saved, sanctified, and baptized him, and he expressed appreciation for the fellowship and love in the Gospel. Boniface Osunkwo told how he was very naughty as a boy and knew he was going to Hell, but one day a song pierced his heart and he prayed and the Lord saved him, changing his life and giving him peace. Lee Spakousky stated that at an early age he found the value of saying yes to God, beginning with July 4, 1971, when the Lord saved him.

First Special: The choir sang “He Made a Way for Me.”

Last Special: Femi Johnson sang “Something Good Is Going to Happen.”

Sermon: Olulana Alofe, group leader in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, preached from Colossians 1:12-17 on the reason for existence, addressing four questions: How did I get here? Who am I? What am I doing here? and, Where am I headed?
