02-25-2022 – Friday Evening Service

Prelude: Janice Calhoun and Sungun Yune played “Come, Holy Spirit” and “How Great Thou Art” on the piano and organ. Then the choir (pictured above) sang “I’ll Take the Old Highway.”

Featured Testimonies: Ade Asaya testified that she had forgotten an important password, but after praying and asking God to help her, she was able to remember it. Victoria Heintz said she is thankful for how God has worked in her life, and for the new job that He provided for her. Caleb Copko said that some recent vandalizing done to his home has given him opportunities to tell some people about the Lord, and he wants his life to be a light to others. Rachel Boyce testified that the hard times help her draw closer to the Lord, and she is thankful for how He is always there to see her through.

First Special: Victoria Heintz, Emmaline Worthington, and Annika Ewers sang “My Revival.”

Last Special: Jeremy Barrett sang “Who Am I?”

Sermon: Harlan Lee, from Roseburg, Oregon, read 1 Kings 19:9 for his text, and asked two questions: “Why are you here?” and “What do you need?” He encouraged the congregation to earnestly seek for what they need from God and trust Him to give it.
