Prelude: Mackenzie Ewers played “I Know that My Redeemer Lives” on her violin.

Featured Testimonies: Verna King reflected on the goodness of God through the years, from the faithfulness of her parents’ teachings to the Lord’s bringing her and Chet together and through fifty-three years of marriage. Rosie Lambert spoke about the importance of consecration through her life, remembering how after she had been married a few years, she realized she had taken back some of her consecrations but the Lord helped her to recommit to Him at that pivotal moment. Richard Trotter (pictured above) shared a small answer to prayer: when he was hooking up his dryer, the breaker kept tripping, until he prayed and the Lord helped him figure out how to fix it. Roth Mom testified about the miracle when God healed his son after doctors had said the child would not survive.

First Special: The choir sang “Faith Finds a Way.”

Last Special: Julianne Luka, Annika Ewers, and Angela Lucescu sang “I Want to Be Like Jesus.”

Sermon: Chet King read Proverbs 16:3 and spoke on the topic of commitment. For examples, he recounted three commitments he made years ago: joining the Navy, deciding to serve the Lord, and marrying his wife. He related those to the actions required to stay fully committed to God.
