01-31-2023 – Tuesday Evening Service

Prelude: The junior orchestra played several songs including “Spring Up O Well” and “Everybody Ought to Know.” Elouise Tonning then played “Andantino” on the cello, followed by Oliver Tonning playing a cello solo of “Gavotte.” To conclude the prelude, a children’s choir (pictured above) sang “Git on Board Lil’ Children,” with Oliver as soloist.

Featured Testimonies: Shannon Gonzalez was thankful for how the Lord provided violin lessons for her son. Genevieve Worthington appreciated the opportunity to share the Gospel recently at school. Angela Lucescu told how she has observed the troubled lives of those around her at work and is so thankful for the hope she has in Jesus. Kristin Lee gave thanks for the peace God gave her when she was sick recently and had to be hospitalized, which was a new experience for her.

First Special: The choir sang “The Old Fashioned Way.”

Last Special: Azaria Charles sang “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.”

Sermon: Harlan Lee preached from Exodus 25:17-22, speaking of the blessing it is to have direct access to Jesus, and that He will extend mercy to those who ask.
