I went home and called my dad on the phone and
he prayed for me. The Lord healed my back and I can prove
that. About eight years ago, Brother Earl put me in charge
of getting crews together to help people when they moved to
or away from Medford. For everyone that moved there or came
from there I was able to carry boxes and furniture and help
them move.
One more thing, my daughter-in-law is crippled
and the Lord healed my back to the extent that I could lift
her out of the wheel chair into the car and out of the car
into the wheel chair. I just want to thank God that He has
healed me many other times besides. — Sam Jensen
Jesus brought me into this Gospel through Sunday
school when I was very young. When I was fourteen years old,
He spoke to my heart and let me know that it was now or never,
His way or no way, all or nothing. I'm thankful that I gave
Him my life that night. I have never regretted it. He also
sanctified me, and right before my senior year in high school,
He filled me with His Holy Spirit.
Like many young people, I had plans for my life,
but it wasn't very long before I realized that sometimes those
plans get changed. When I was in my late twenties, I began
having physical problems that continued into my early thirties.
When I was thirty-three years old, I was diagnosed with multiple
sclerosis, and it had hit me very hard! For several years,
I watched as my independence was slowly chipped away, and
my ability to do everyday tasks declined. I didn't make plans
because I never knew what I would be able to do from one day
to the next. Yet, as my life changed, and things I had taken
for granted changed, my Jesus did not. He was right there
the whole time. Every time I knelt to pray, He would hold
me, carry me, and fill me with His strength. Even when I could
not get on my knees, He let me know that He was there. His
presence was overwhelming, and He took me through areas that
I never would have been able to go through alone! I am thankful
for that.
In 2002, while on my way home from camp meeting,
I made a promise to the Lord, that if He would heal me, I
would stand up and testify. He heard that promise, and He
healed me completely. The time since then has been incredible!
I have done things that I had not been able to do in ten years.
The medications that I needed just to get through the day
are no longer necessary. I figured if the Lord could heal
me of the disease, He could take care of the withdrawals from
the drugs, but I had no withdrawals—no side effects! I don't
know why He healed me, but I do know that I want to do His
will and to be used of Him. — Angie Waddell
When I was six years old, I asked Jesus into
my heart and he gave me peace. He has since sanctified and
filled me with his Holy Spirit, and recently, He has healed
my body.
My husband and I came to camp meeting this year,
needing a specific prayer answered. He had been suffering
from an illness for several years, and it was slowly worsening. There
is no known cure and the medications were no longer working.
We were at a crossroads, and our only hope was for the Lord
to heal him. The Saturday night before camp meeting my
husband came into our cabin and said, “We've got to pray.” We
were desperate for the Lord to undertake and remove this affliction.
That night we earnestly sought the Lord together. For
a time, there seemed to be a cloud between us and the hand
of God. We could feel the enemy resisting us, but we continued
to cry out to God to give us victory. At about 1:00 a.m.
on Sunday morning, the cloud disappeared. The resistance
was gone, and the Lord was there. The Lord came down
in that little cabin and touched my husband. We knew
a battle had been won and we had the victory!
That same Sunday evening, I started having terrible
abdominal pain. It continued throughout the night. It
would lessen for a short time and then come back more severe
over the next few days. I was anointed and prayed for
by the ministers, and still the pain continued. By Wednesday
morning, we decided it was time to see a doctor. She
ran several tests but could find nothing wrong. She finally
sent me away with high dosage pain medication. That evening
the pain came back, and the medication did nothing to lessen
it. I could only curl up in a ball on my bed and cry. We
asked people to pray and headed for the emergency room.
We were in the waiting room for two hours and
the pain continued. We spent two more hours with the doctor
while they ran more tests. As a final test, they were
getting me all set up to do an ultrasound. It was then that
the pain lifted and was gone completely. I knew people
were praying. All of the tests came back negative and
we never knew what the problem was. I was still very
weak the next morning and unable to eat. I went to morning
teaching and the Lord prompted me to testify of my healing. When
I stood to my feet, before I spoke a word, I felt my strength
return and knew that the Lord had truly undertaken for me. It
was at that point that I knew this mysterious illness was
a direct attack from the enemy, as a result of our Saturday
night victory.
We wondered how much this emergency room visit
would cost and were not sure how we were going to pay for
it. Yet, we felt confident that the Lord would undertake
in the financial part of it too. He had undertaken for
my husband and for me, and we knew He was in control. There
was no doubt; this was more of a spiritual battle than a physical
battle.
The hospital told us that I could send a letter
to the financial department and ask for assistance, or to
at least make monthly payments. My bill from that visit
totaled over $1,300.00. We sent the letter to them, and in
return we received a new bill from the hospital stating that
my bill had been paid in full. Our balance was $0.00.
They also said they would pay any follow-up bills for the
next four months, which thankfully, I did not need.
I have had no stomach problems since that day,
and the Lord has undertaken completely for my husband. Now
we can say with more confidence than ever, “That if two of
you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall
ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven”
(Matthew 18:19). — Cindie Baltzell
I am thankful that the Lord saved me and sanctified
me two and half months ago. He completely changed all my goals
and my desires.
For the last seven years, I have had extremely bad eczema all
over my hands and it has been very painful. I haven't seen the
doctor about it; I just put it in the Lord's hands that if it
was His will to heal my hands, I knew they would be healed.
My kids have been praying for me every single night about them
because it has been so painful. In the last four weeks, the
Lord has completely healed them. I don't have a trace of it.
I just want to thank the Lord. — Ryan Zetter
