Childcare Facility Checklist
When it is necessary for both parents to work outside the home, one of the
most important decisions those parents must make is selecting quality childcare
for their young children. Depending on where you live, the choices can be
mind-boggling. There are many different childcare options, but the main
categories are: licensed childcare centers, family/in-home childcare, and
individual care, such as nannies or family members.
If you choose a childcare facility, how do you determine which center
is best for your child? Asking questions, spending time talking with staff,
visiting centers at different times of the day, and most importantly,
praying that God will help guide you to the best safe and loving environment
for your child, will greatly increase your satisfaction with the choice
you make. Here are a few items to consider in the decision making process.
