The members of the Apostolic Faith Church in Aiken, South Carolina, gathered on December 22, 2011, for their first Christmas extravaganza, hosted by Myra Harley. While the event was primarily organized by the youth, the entire congregation was eager to participate in this eventful evening. Everyone dressed formally for this grand occasion, and the young people were encouraged to invite their friends from the community.
The beautiful decorations and elaborate display of food generated awe from the attendees. The evening began with introductions of those who had been invited from the community, while a photographer captured the evening with numerous photos. Everyone was then encouraged to mingle and enjoy the delicious dinner that had been prepared as they waited for the evening’s entertainment, which included a local Christian comedian whose refreshing humor added a delightful touch to the well-planned evening.
All who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they were reminded of the real reason for such joyful cheer during the Christmas season, the birth of the Savior.
