image We received news from Rayudu Raju, Pastor of our India headquarters church in Kaikavolu, that thirty-seven fruit trees are being planted this week along the inside perimeter of the new campground. The property was purchased a little over a year ago, in time for the June 2010 camp meeting, and is located directly behind the Kaikavolu church. During camp meetings, meals are prepared on the campground, so the abundance of fresh fruit (which should ripen in June) will really be a blessing.

John Musgrave, Wayne Butler, and Andrew Blackburn send greetings from our churches in Romania. In his last report, Brother John told of their attending Apostolic Faith services in seven locations. Since then, they have traveled to eight more, visiting both established congregations and newer groups.

image John Musgrave and Wayne Butler, along with Andrew Blackburn, left for Romania on Tuesday, September 13. Since then, Brother John writes, they have been blessed to participate in several services among our Romanian churches. He said they enjoyed a very good service Thursday evening in Ramnicu Sarat and then drove to Oltenia on Friday for an afternoon service in Osica de Jos. The weather was hot, so the meeting was held outside and attracted a few people who were just passing by. Because Osica de Jos is a farming community, there were also animals nearby and the congregation was briefly entertained by a chicken running around up in an apple tree.

image The first ever Newfoundland camp meeting ended on a high note with God’s blessing present in each of the concluding services. The saints in Newfoundland have renewed energy, especially feeling inspired by the young adults visiting from afar. Likewise, all the visitors leave inspired knowing that God met them here during the past week of services.
