This morning we drove over two hours from Calabar to our Ikot Enwang church. As we approached the grounds, we were amazed at the sight of the assembled crowd, including 600 choir and orchestra members. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, they marched in the church playing and singing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," with the ministers following. After all were in place, congregation members quickly filed in and found a place to sit. All 19,800 of them! In addition, there were hundreds outside looking in on the three-and-one-half-hour dedication service.

As scheduled, we flew to Calabar from Lagos on Thursday. We were met by a contingency of local saints and the church leaders of the Nigerian work. After a late lunch together it was already evening. They wanted us to see the church at night. The location of the church is in one of the more densely populated areas of Nigeria. As we approached, we could see the five-story tall church standing as a literal beacon of light in a community of mostly one and two story homes.

The Worthingtons and Morgans continue to visit the saints in Jamaica. On Friday, they attended a service at our Albert Town church. During the meeting, several recent converts, many of them young people, gave testimonies of victory. Our team testified as well, and provided several music specials.
