During the week following the Chile camp meeting in Chimbarongo, Brother Sam traveled about 600 miles south to Chiloe to distribute Gospel literature and evaluate the opportunity for evangelism in that area. He was encouraged by the response. Almost everyone who was given a tract said, “Thank you.” Many began reading right away and it was not uncommon for those passing by to request a tract after seeing them handed to others.

The third annual Chile camp meeting concluded on Sunday. Brother Sam said it was a resounding success with the Lord giving victory over every troubling physical and spiritual situation brought before Him.

The morning teachings were based on the theme of Christians knowing God’s will for their lives specifically and in general. The first focused on God’s will for every person to receive the foundational experiences of salvation, sanctification, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Another brought out God’s will concerning marriage. A third was on maintaining a Christian appearance that is reverential of God in church and representative of God outside of church.

Today was the dedication of three areas of the Anthony Village complex. We first gathered in the tabernacle for a program that included a presentation by students of the Apostolic Faith Secondary School (AFSS), who expressed appreciation for the academic and spiritual learning they gain by attending our school. This was followed by adult selections and a message that drew attention to the fact that we are laborers in God's harvest field, fulfilling the Great Commission. After the dedicatory prayer, we moved to each of the three areas to be dedicated for ribbon cutting ceremonies and tours, each of which we found to be very impressive.
