On Wednesday, Brother Sam left the Cajamarca area and traveled 115 miles west toward the coast of Peru. He and a team of workers including Augustin Cueva-Quiroz (Peru District Superintendent), Jose Arribasplata (pastor of our San Lucas church), and an interpreter went to visit a group in Guadalupe. This small city is an hour-and-a-half drive south of our Chiclayo churches.

Sam Ajayi, Director of South America Work, has been in Peru since Saturday, May 1. He is visiting the churches in the Cajamarca area, where a second annual camp meeting is scheduled for July 26 to August 2. He said it was wonderful to see the efforts that have been made to make the camp meeting a success and the eagerness of the saints to learn more of the Gospel.

Our team in Romania continued to make home visits in the Pascani area through the remainder of last week. On Thursday, their first visit was to the town of Butea where they were surprised to find forty waiting for them. They had an enjoyable service lasting two hours. The people sang with all their hearts while tears flowed freely, and the time went by quickly. Brother John and Brother Harlan both shared their testimonies in a message. Afterward, there was a time of prayer. The mother of the main family, who is the matriarch of the church, was thrilled with the service and happily knelt to pray.
