After the Peru camp meeting ended, the Ajayis and Rick Olson visited our church in Iquitos, Peru. They sent the following report:

image On Friday, August 9, a meeting was held to apprise the Iquitos saints of the things learned at the Cajamarca camp meeting. To this end, a quick review was made of the three Christian experiences, salvation, sanctification, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The principles and practices of giving tithes and offerings were also explained. Then it was announced that because the Apostolic Faith churches do not pass collection plates, a tithes box would soon be installed at the back of the church. The congregation was happy to hear it and also that electric fans would be installed during this visit.

Our ten-member team in Peru sent the following summary of the one-week camp meeting which concluded on August 3:

Teachings & Evangelistic Services: Throughout the week, the Lord blessed with inspiring teachings given by Brother Sam, and heart-warming evangelistic services mostly given by the leaders of our work in Peru, Chile, and Brazil.

Tuesday’s teaching was on salvation, and to start, Brother Lonnie presented an object lesson on the door to our heart. In a multi-lingual service, this was very effective. The message was taken from 1 Peter 2:5, and described salvation as the necessary foundation for our spiritual house. It was very well received and followed by a good prayer service.

image Debbie and I left the United Kingdom camp meeting early last week and traveled to France with Isaac and Stella Adigun to visit our two groups there. The Tuesday and Wednesday evening services, held in Paris and Troyes respectively, were very encouraging. There were forty in attendance in Paris and thirty in Troyes. When we visited five years ago, there were just a handful of saints in Paris, so the expansion is inspiring.
